Clifton George Bailey III or Capleton began his career in the late 1980's with more hardcore street themes for most of his songs. But in the early 1990's he began a slow transformation in Rastafari. His lyrics began to change from street to rasta.
Recently he and other artists like Sizzla, Anthony B and Buju Banton are leading the way to bring dancehall back to the roots and away from the hardcore negativity of street music.
